Clinton 'shocked' by allegations against longtime donor Weinstein

Tim Kaine, said on CNN Tuesday morning that people should condemn Weinstein and said he anticipated Clinton would say something eventually.

But both Clintons and Obama have not yet made any comment related to the Weinstein revelations.

Clinton's upcoming book, "What Happened", went on sale September 12 and details her upset loss to Republican Donald Trump last fall.

Clinton's communications director, Nick Merrill, tweeted out a short statement from the former presidential candidate, for whom Weinstein, a major Democratic donor, had thrown past fundraisers.

He's already been fired - two days ago - by the board of directors of The Weinstein Company "in light of new information about misconduct by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days".
