'Home And Away' Actress Taken Off Life Support

Jessica, has been in a coma since boxing day after a freak vehicle accident took the lives of her parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60 and her younger sister, Annabelle, 21.

Former Home and Away actress Jessica Falkholt's life support machine has been turned off but she remains in a critical condition, hospital officials have confirmed.

"On behalf of the family of Jessica Falkholt, St George Hospital has been asked to advise the media and the community that Jessica's life support has been switched off", a hospital statement said.

After weeks spent in the Intensive Care Unit at St George Hospital, Jessica's life support was turned off last night.

Jessica Falkholt's sister Annabelle, 21, who was also critically injured in the accident and died three days later in hospital.

"Rest in peace, attractive Jessica Falkholt", it said.

A funeral notice for the ceremony at St Mary's Catholic Church in Concord described the Falkholt family as a "dearly loved and cherished father, mother and sister to Jessica".
