The Seahawks, Eagles and Titans will all be making their London debuts in October. Tottenham's new stadium becomes the third venue to stage a regular-season game in the United Kingdom, joining Wembley Stadium and Twickenham Stadium. The NFL is yet to decide which game will be on October 21 in Week 7 and which slots into Week 8 on October 28.
CBS Sports writes Jacksonville is scheduled to be the "home" team in London for the sixth straight season. With Spurs having engineered their ground to specifically cater for National Football League games, they would be clear favourites to host the franchise. October 14 will mark the Seahawks' first appearance in a London game.
The new stadium was designed with NFL-sized changing rooms and to ensure the grass soccer pitch can be retracted and kept under lights below the stands when the artificial surface is required for NFL. Two will be staged at Wembley following the first game which will be played at Tottenham Hotspur's new 61,000-seat stadium.
"This is a milestone year for the club as we look ahead to the opening of our new stadium and all that it will bring to the area of Tottenham", said Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy.
